587 & 765 Sound Clip

Gary Straub has digitized a sound clip created from a videotape that he shot of the Nickel Plate 587 and 765 doubleheading an excursion from Ft. Wayne to Chicago. He states, "I stood at the site of the former West Wayne Yard and got a real treat. The excursion pulled up and stopped, had to wait 30 minutes or so for an eastbound freight to clear. I was fortunate enough to capture the startup sequence on videotape as the excursion pulled out."
