NKP 639 Donated to Bloomington, Illinois

On November 1, 1959 the Nickel Plate Road #639 was officially turned over to the City of Bloomington, Illinois in a dedication ceremony that day. Mike McGraw of Sanford, North Carolina contributes the story and accompanying pictures about the NKP Mikado and the ceremony that November afternoon.
